When I am not judging the Quarterly Contests for the ISPWP, I am allowed to enter my own images into the competition. The ISPWP is growing very quickly and has an amazing amount of talented photographers amongst its members. Well done to all those that had images placed.

Here are a few of mine that got placings this quarter.

This year I have been asked by several photographers whether I would be prepared to spend a day with them to run through the way I shoot a wedding, and also provide critique on their wedding images. I have decided to set aside 10 days this year for 1 on 1 mentoring sessions. You can ask me anything you like, you can be a local wedding photographer, or from any part of the country, there are no restrictions.

I will be more than happy to run over how I run my business and help you with editing, post processing, shooting, its really up to you what you ask. I will be honest and open, the aim is to help you improve your images and the way you run your business.

Karen and Neil were such a wonderful couple to work with. At our first meeting, about 4 weeks before the wedding, we met at a London Hotel and talked well into the night about so many things, not just wedding plans. Both Karen and Neil work as doctors in London, working night shifts in one of London’s more notorious hospitals. Karen’s bridal preperations were at the glorious Mandarin Oriental, in London’s West End, opposite Hyde Park, from there we caught a cab to the Westminster Registry Office, a London Bus to celebrity chef Tom Aiken’s Restuarant for the wedding breakfast and then back to the Mandarin Oriental for the evening reception. Karen and Neil looked so happy throughout the day, and were a real pleasure to photograph. here are some of my favourite images from their day.
