Cathy and Craig’s wedding was a very emotional affair and really tested me as a documentary wedding photographer. Cathy’s father gave a very tearful speech full of emotion and sadness, and when the whole room goes quiet and you can see a picture in front of you what do you do. I chose to shoot through the silence and hopefully got some images that when they look back on them in years to come will remind them of that very powerful speech.
