Freezing…. thats about the first word that comes to mind when I look at these images. Bovey Castle sits in Dartmoor National Park, and Dartmoor in January is one of the coldest places in the UK. When I arrived I looked at the car temperature gauge and it was -6C, and that was about as warm as it got. Bovey is a beautiful venue, one of the nicest in Devon, Alia and Paul’s wedding was glorious, both were really chilled on the day and it was a pleasure documenting it. They seem to have organised everything, with nearest the pin, in the dark, being my favourite, I think my ball ended up further away than it originally started. Alia’s father is from the Middle East and one of the funniest things all day was one of her father’s friends, doing his George W Bush impression of an interview he gave before hitting a golf ball, it was hilarious.

So here are the images from their day and a longer than normal slideshow at the bottom.

Enjoy..

I love this next one, this is the reaction to Alia’s mum seeing her in her dress,

gill....Alia's mum : What a day!!Words can't express how proud I felt when I turned around and saw Alia for the first time in her dress...so beautiful. The photographs are wonderful and tell the story of the day from start to finish..the laughter and the tears.A truly emotional day, made so perfect by everyone who attended..a warm and happy atmosphere reflected in the faces of the bride and groom.Thankyou David..a job well done!
