I first met Sammy and Ian in July and at that time they had just decided to get married at Great Fosters and so only had 3 months in which to plan their wedding. Sammy did a remarkable job in arranging so much in such a short space of time, including getting the Vera Wang dress….

Sammy and Ian have 3 beautiful children who all played a major role on the day and were a delight to photograph.

Here are some images and slideshow from their day.

I recently joined the ISPWP organisation as the photographer that runs it, Joe Milton, was one of the reasons I became a wedding photographer. I stumbled across Joe’s site some years ago and was blown away with the images on there. So when Joe set up the ISPWP I joined as soon as I could. At the moment the organisation is in its infancy, and already has some great photographers and friends of mine as its members. David Murray, Sergio, Allegra,Ashley, to name just a few and its really great knowing that such talented photographers are in the same organisation striving to achieve the same goals.

The results were announced this morning here

and here are some of my images that were placed.

Amanda and Darren were married at Bickleigh Castle in Tiverton, Amanda having recently given birth to a lovely baby girl,Beau.

Once again I was blessed to work with wonderful registrars, having paid a small fortune to marry at the Castle, the two registrars walked in and before I could say “good afternoon”, I was promptly told “no photos during the ceremony”.

For me this ridiculous rule needs to be changed otherwise it seems a complete waste of money getting married at a lovely venue if you cant have photographs of the most important part, but then what do i know… isn’t it great to rant on your own blog…

Anyhow, Amanda booked me because she has a love of B&W photography, and so most of what you see in this post will be B&W, but family and friends need not worry as couples who purchase the CD get the images in both colour and B&W as a matter of course.

Heres the show.
