Jess and Stuart got married at Bickleigh Castle on Saturday and had probably the worst weather I have seen for 6 years, it rained virtually all day. I have known Jess’s dad for about 9 years, infact Nigel found me my first house when I moved to Devon and so it was a privilege for me to document his daughters day.

I am very fortunate to belong to 2 Associations, neither of which are UK based, the first being WPJA
and the other being Photographik . I was recently honoured to be asked by Jesse of Photographik to write an article that he would publish on his site, the content being the word “photojournalism” and what it means to me with regard to wedding photography. Whilst I’m sure many other photographers will either agree or disagree,(more than likely the latter) with the article, I must express that these are just my views. I’m passionate about my job and my work and I feel that the industry is in a fragile state at the moment.
