First, a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to all my clients, readers and subscribers to this blog. I have had a very busy Xmas so apologies for the non updates of this blog. I still have 2 weddings to shoot before the end of the year and in the 12 days leading up to and immediately after Xmas I will have shot 8 weddings.

For the second time in just over a year I have managed to win placings in this presigious competition. This time 2 of my images won placings. The WPJA is a professional organization composed of photojournalists and wedding photographers from around the world. Every quarter there is a photo contest, where thousands of images are judged and awarded placings. Images placed in the top 10 of that category win medals.
This quarter I gained a 6th and 7th place in the “reception” category. Here are the images and the judges comments.
JUDGES COMMENTS: Beautiful and romantic wedding picture, well done technically. I really like this image – it reminds me of a hitchcock movie.
I had the pleasure of photographing Nicola and Nick’s wedding at Stoodleigh Court on Saturday. Unfortunately they had been let down by a local photographer at the last minute and asked if I would be willing to photograph their day.
